Fully 70% of Asian countries do not employ a single child and adolescent psychiatrist. Due to stigma, misinformation and lack of treatment, the average time between the onset of symptoms and the start of treatment is more than 8 years. Our children deserve better.
That is why the Education Board (of Vocational Training and Development) was founded. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families with mental health and learning disabilities by providing them with the help they need. We have become the leading independent nonprofit in children's mental health, providing evidence-based care at the gold standard, providing educational resources to millions of families each year, training educators in underserved communities, and developing tomorrow's breakthrough treatments..

Anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts and attempts among young people are on the rise, although access to evidence-based treatment is limited by workforce shortages, inadequate education and stigma. These challenges motivate all of India at the Education Board (Vocational Training and development) to work tirelessly for children in our roles of care, education and research. In 2022, we are proud of our tangible contributions to the mental health of children in Indian and around the world, but we are humbled by the amount of work that remains to be done.

A Mind-Education workshop for students is an interactive and engaging session designed to inspire and empower young minds. It aims to motivate students to reach their full potential, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals. These workshops are usually conducted by experienced mentors or motivational speakers who share their personal experiences, success stories, and practical tips with the students. Through various activities, discussions, and exercises, students are encouraged to identify their strengths, set achievable goals, and develop a positive mindset.

We offer experienced, knowledgeable professionals for children with eating disorders, food phobias, swallowing problems, choking sensitivities, and oral eating disorders. We assist and encourage parents and students to promote healthy eating or consumption habits to avoid eating disorders and establish a safe environment for students who could be at risk.
We treat phobia seriously and offer accurate guidance and assistance. Through our activities, we dispel anxiety and foster a welcoming learning environment. The hazardous factors include social anxiety, traumatic experiences, and mental health problems in the family. Rapid heart rate, perspiration, trembling, coughing, and stomach upset are among the symptoms.
To treat children with learning difficulties, we list their needs and talents. Most of our subject areas utilize research-based techniques to adjust lessons to increase assignment comprehension. Our wonderful teachers maintain open channels of interaction, determine their preferred methods of learning, and assign engaging but challenging activities to motivate students.
To support neurodivergent learners, our compassionate teachers use various useful resources, including systems of rewards, guidelines, specialized notebooks, various tools, and curricula related to managing their emotions. We make sure all children have the right kind of social support to become successful in each area of their lives, including academics.
